Creating a better, fairer and greener future is possible but it requires changing the minds of politicians and the public.
This is seldom easy, especially when it comes to challenging well established beliefs about how the economy works – but this is what we need to do. The economic myths that have dominated politics for past decades urgently need to be confronted if mass impoverishment and inequality are not to rise even further, blighting not only our lives but those of future generations.
So we can create a better future but we need your help to make it happen!
What can I do?
If you think you might want to help, consider:
- Coming along to a members’ meeting to find out more about what we do, and to get to know your fellow-members; this does not commit you to doing any work! There are two monthly regional meetings you can attend. Since COVID, the groups have become virtual, which means that all group meetings are open to all members. See our events here.
- Joining one of our projects — this does involve doing some work (we need members to help with research, data analysis, project management and public engagement) but we are not unreasonable! – and you can decide how much you want to get involved.
- Helping us more generally through the provision of skills and expertise to help grow the movement and expand our reach and influence.
