99% members come from all parts of society; they are people like you who are determined to help.
Whatever your age, gender, race, sexuality, ability status or party affiliation, we want you. Whether you are a busker, a barber, a banker or a billionaire, we want you. If you want to help end mass impoverishment, we want you. Whether you have a lot of time or a little, we want you. As long as you share our values, we want you.

Meet the founders and contributors making the 99% organisation a growing movement
We work to make mass impoverishment a key issue for Government, and to drive serious policy change to protect the interests of the 99% (in the UK, if you earn less than £120k, that’s you).
We want to build a world in 2050, where rather than being poorer than their parents, most people are far better-off.
Our key projects include:
Most people in the UK are poorer today than they were in 2007, though the economy has grown. This is mass impoverishment.
If the economy is doing so well, how can most people not be doing well? If the pie is growing, why aren’t we all getting bigger slices? Why is our children’s generation set to be the first in living memory that is poorer than its predecessors?
