We have a new initiative, People Like Us, aimed at getting more ‘people like us’ aware of the issues 99% is concerned with. This is vitally important since lack of awareness is one of the main factors holding back change.

There are two ways you can help:

1. Find speaking opportunities in your network and region
   We’re all members of many different groups – whether school or university friends, professional bodies  from our careers, interest, social and political groups and many more. If you think any of them might be interested in hearing the 99% story then let us know and a 99% member can speak to them (or you could train as a speaker and tell the story yourself?)
2. Become a 99% speaker If you’d like to get involved, we will train you to tell the 99% story to groups of people.  We can help with messaging, FAQs and build your confidence as a speaker.
