The group has evolved from its starting point as People Like Us, which was about training 99%ers to speak about the issue of inequality among our own networks. This broadened into raising awareness with our allies, who share our fundamental concern with inequality but may express it differently. We recognised that their message may appeal to people we have difficulty reaching and vice versa and we continue to identify and reach out to these natural allies and, together, find ways to amplify our voices.

The group meets every other Friday at 3pm and all are welcome to come along.
